German-Texan Heritage Society

All are welcome! I’ll be speaking and signing at this venerable heritage society that preserves and promotes the unique heritage of the German Texans. The historic 1858 German Free School building has survived many a disaster–including the flood of 1900. Refreshments will be served.

The majority of the photos for The Austin Dam Disaster of 1900 were discovered and most of the research conducted at this lovely asset for the whole Austin community. Everyone is welcome for a presentation and discussion, book signing, and refreshments!
